I Slept With 3 Men in one Night!

Yes, I know shocking! Especially after all the monastery blessings and prayers. When I arrived back to my “Happy Toilet” B and B from the monastery, the Chinese couple informed me that I would be sharing the room with three men.  The semi-private rooms were full. The large room I had slept in before has 4 beds, one in each corner.

I felt a little shy and wondered if I should find another Air B and B,  but it was too late for that.  So I did what any decent, single, American women would do in this situation!

I put all my money, passport, credit cards, phone, laptop computer and kindle in my pillow case and made sure the opening to the pillow case faced the wall. Then I slept on it with one eye and ear open.  In the morning everything was intact, including me.

One young man was from Portugal and we practiced – well I practiced, a little Portuguese with him. He asked for directions to the Danube river and I offered to walk him down. His English was decent and we had a nice chat on the way there. He got on a Viking ship and will work tending bar for 4 months to make some money for his business back in Portugal. I felt so smart knowing how to get him to the river and he was so grateful.
